Early Words videos

  • Aboriginal families in Western Sydney receive Early Words Aboriginal DVDs free.
  • 2 DVDs are given out.
  • The DVDs cover pregnancy-3 years and 3-5 years.
  • Early literacy is getting bub ready to read, write and yarn well.
  • Families can look at easy activities that will help their bub's with literacy from birth-5 years.
  • They can help by looking and listening and yarning with bub.
  • Bub will enjoy drawing and being read to.
  • This will give them a good start at school. Literacy begins at birth.

Little Big Book Club

Project for emerging indigenous writer and /or illustrator project

The Big Book Club Inc. has received funding from Australia Council for the Arts to project manage the development and production of three picture books written and illustrated by emerging Indigenous writers and illustrators. The books will be published and distributed nationally by Allen & Unwin.
